Shahabuddin Medical College is running an MBBS course by taking approval from Govt. of Bangladesh; Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council and affiliated with the University of Dhaka since 2003. Founder Chairman Alhaj. Mohammed Shahabuddin an eminent businessman and social reformer take the initiative of forming this Medical College to serve humanity.<\/p>\n

Bangladesh is a densely populated developing country with increased demand for both preventive and curative health care services. The Govt. of Bangladesh is committed to providing, adequate health services to the people according to social equity and for which eligible, efficient, and competent doctors and other auxiliaries are required for the same. Along with the Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges in Bangladesh are performing a very significant role in producing such competent doctors and providing specialized healthcare facilities at a reasonable cost.<\/p>\n

Along with the Bangladeshi students Shahabuddin Medical College also admits foreign students from around the globe. 45% of seats of Shahabuddin Medical College are allotted for admitting foreign students.<\/p>\n

The campus includes a College building and a Hospital building, both of which are 12 storied and hold all the attributes of modern architecture.Male Hostel building lies adjacent to the college building.<\/p>\n

College building holds the administrative wings along with the pre and para-clinical departments. Administrative wing comprises of office of the Chairman, Principal, Vice-Principal along with other
\ncollege administrative offices.<\/p>\n

College building also has Departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine,Forensic Medicine, Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Pathology and Microbiology.<\/p>\n

College building also has the Library, Lecture Halls, Conference rooms, CME unit, Common room,Prayer room, Canteen and one wing of the Female hostel.<\/p>\n

Hospital building faces the college building and is equipped with all the facilities of a modernhospital. Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital is a 500 bed hospital and holds VIP Cabin, General
\nCabin, General wards, OPD (Out Patient Department), Emergency , ICU, CCU, NICU, Operation Theatres, Kidney dialysis unit, Physiotherapy unit, Pharmacy , Laboratory and Imaging unit.<\/p>\n

Hospital building has all the departments of clinical subjects naming Department of Medicine along with its allied subjects, Department of Surgery along with its allied subjects, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology.<\/p>\n

Shahabuddin Medical College is eagerly awaiting inauguration of its new campus at Gazipur. Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital has 500 beds, where both outdoor and indoor services are provided by renowned physicians round the clock.
